You're 100% right, an all season is no better than a full on slick. Guess if I ever actually raced I would know this.

Are you guys really that slow? Did you really miss the point? Please point out where I stated that a car isnt quicker on a stickier tire.
My point, which was apparently too hard for you to comprehend, was that bickering over the tire not coming stock on a vehicle is laughable.
We dont care that it's on a stickier tire. That's the idea. Take the "it's not stock due to the tire" BS to Facebook where it belongs.

The Demond is a stellar set up, and this one is killing it. Obviously it’s not stick but it’s being utilized as intended.

The new GT500 surely won’t match it straight line but that’s not it’s aim. It’s supposed to be a well rounded vehicle from all we know so far and I’m sure it’ll do just that.

Personally I’d love to have a hellcat red eye. The wide body hell cats look so damn good in person.

So a car that comes on a crap tire, but runs on big and little is still stock?

So which is it, a car is still "stock" on a stickier tire, or is it not? Guess an intake still counts as stock too, because it's needed, just like a tire is needed on a car.

Didnt say it was stock with a different tire. Just saying that only internet "racers" care what it runs on a shit radial.

Lol, only the internet considers a slick not stock, but no one else, huh? You should enlighten most the magazines and manufacturers, they can run on slicks but claim times on an all season, since only the internet considers them different.

So you enjoy implying things?

I know what you’re saying, but I’m not sure it’s a fair comparison because tires are typically viewed as a consumable. Intakes usually don’t wear out every 5k-30k miles.

Who gives a shit what tire it’s on. It’s widely known most cars come from the factory with tires that are garbage.

Tires come at different levels, just like brakes, intakes, etc.

Throwing a full slotted rotor, ceramic brake kit on a car that came with entry level steel rotors and cheap pads, but run faster laps isn't going to qualify as stock. No different than racing a stock F1 asymmetric vs a DR or slick and claim it's stock. A full race tire can mean half a second improvement or better, so to claim that as irrelevant is laughable.

I certainly don’t consider a similar tire a mod, but when you list mods, and don’t list the race wheel/tire (which are mods), it does imply that you’re trying to say “I ran x.xx with only a pulley!” It’s also got what looks to be a 6 pt, which does wonders for rigidity, which equates to 60 ft.

It’s still a great time, just seems like they’re trying to underplay what all is done to the car. Similar to the hellcat videos that came out, where the guy was later found to be using nitrous (which we all called due to sound and the fact he was snapping driveshafts).

I couldn’t hook for shit with the factory Nittos, so I threw on some MT et streets and picked up well over a half second.
I think my best 60’ on the factory Nittos was a 1.7.
I consistently cut low 1.4 on the MT. These cars are fun!
Yeah tell that to revvv he doesn't seem to understand that oem Demon Nittos suck at the track and that 9.6 pass with them was a glory run NEVER to be matched, not even close!

I know it's unpopular opinion but I'm on the side of who gives a shit about factory tire. People who actually race will swap out with what works and that car is moving.
That 9.6 Nitto pass have never been duplicated SO is that false advertising by Dodge?

YEAH BUT Nitto make a drag radial specific for the Demon, reportedly capable of 1.3 60's that never came into reality for the public Demon owners. They should of just put an M/T Pro radial on it and this bickering would have never happened..
