For a Shelby, that's on the high end for miles on a modded car compared to most.
It looks great, all good mods but I'd be interested in when it was modded & how it was treated afterwards.
The market has many stock/never modded cars available. If it was me, I'd be shopping there.

That's a valid point. There are some 13-14 gt500's bone stock, but not in the price range I am looking to buy. Just want something I can pay off within 2019

Im not a big fan of the lowering springs at all

Why 2010? That’s the worst one imo. 2011 they lost 100lbs.

13/14, 11/12, 07/08 in that order.

I know the order...

I was initially looking at 07-08's mainly for budget reasons, but have stepped that up a bit mainly because I think 2010+ cars look so much better. I'm not racing or modding this car, well, maybe exhaust, but that will be it.

I also love the color combo of this car, I don't see many of them in any year for sale.

Serious question, what makes an 11 so much better than a 10? I'm a foxbody guy and have really been looking for a fox Saleen with no luck, so I've been looking at GT500's.

Aluminum motor, factory wideband O2 sensors (tuners dream), larger factory exhaust, recaro seat option, better gearing.

That said... ... I’d take a 2010 in a heartbeat. I like the iron motor and the 2010 is better looking than 07-09 IMO.

What he said. The al motor took 100lbs off the car making it 3700lbs with out the big stereo option. Almost the same weight as the 03/04’s.

Good information, thanks.

I coming from an '86 GT so any of the 500's are going to be above and beyond in every aspect compared to the old fox bodies.

Gimmie11s, I agree. looks are the only thing keeping me from the 07-09's, I don't hate them, it's just the 2010's look so much better IMO.

On an 07/08 you'd probably want to replace the crank balancer & clutch right off the bat unless you pussyfoot it every time you drive it, but on the 2010 you're good to go with modifications or leaving it stock. Looks are entirely subjective, but drivetrain wise the 2010 would be better, not worse than an 07/08.

I think that's a fair price. When I bought my 2011 I looked for a long time, and really had to beat up the guy I bought it from on price. Hard to find anything with 30K or less miles in 2011 or 2012 model for less than $30k. These cars are solid, I would not let the mileage scare you. I think you could be patient and find a 2011 for around 30-32K with 15-30K miles. I bought my car one owner, with 22K miles in mint shape for $28k.

There was one for sale on here I think or autotrader that had a whipple an nice mods with like 15k miles and the guy gave it away for 28k. I caught him a day late...

Fellas should I be expecting this dealer to offer some type of warranty even if it has some modifications? They won’t come of $32,995
