I never said Majority. You said 'None', I pointed out an example here on this site, as well as my own.

How many Lightnings do you think went to the drag strip every day?

Not sure. But I'd be willing to bet more people drag race/road race with their $35k Lightning, than people actually off-roading with their $65k Raptor. (Not leisurely driving down an unpaved road)

It seems that not many people know that the Ranger has been in production overseas this whole time, and yes it's offered with a diesel, and yes there's a model that is a tamed European version of a "Raptor" but it's called the "WildTrak." All that Ford U.S. will do is carry over cues from the production Ranger for the "new" American version. Do I believe it will be better than its Colorado/Canyon/Tacoma/etc. competitors? Absolutely.

Did a quick search for Ranger WildTrak. FAR too mild mannered for what the market is looking for. I want to see something that can legitimately compete with the Colorado ZR2. I want wide-body fenders, outlandish hood ventilation, O/R light mounting points, and knobby BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires. Make it wild.

Ford won't even tease a raptor in the US until the ranger comes back because it would undermine the sales of the new truck. Anyone who wanted a 4x4 ranger would just get it but if you have any sense, find out the raptor is coming, and don't absolutely have to buy a new truck you're going to wait. I wouldn't be much loss but it would have some impact for sure. It would also potentially take sales from the F150 market, so you'd be affecting two products with a special version of a truck that isn't a fiscal success yet.

That's why you won't hear anything official until the ranger is back 100% and on lots.
