Thank you

His cars always look phenomenal.

Nice work @Red Turtle

Appreciate the compliment. Your black S550 was a great looking ride as well.

Car looks awesome sir.

Thank you

That blacked out grill looks great, Justin. That stance, though. Slammed! One off the benefits living in Florida. LOL. Just a great looking Mustang my friend.

Thanks Bob. One of the first things to go with the 18' was the mismatched grill finishes. The cervini kit was a perfect solution. That stance, yeah, she is low but I run a rather large set of tires so overall she is still up there. I can clear parking curbs at this height still. Thanks for the compliment.

I've seen it in person, looks and sounds killer. Barry might be back down end of October Justin for the air show here.

Close but different car. This is an 18' and while similar, so much different than my 16'. The 10spd with 3.55's is an absolute blast to drive and I went with a Steeda Coilover set up with Pro-Action adjustable's. She handles like a go cart and pulls like a train with the 10spd keeping her in the meat at WOT.

Lol... they’re definitely not race motors but the stump pulling torque and smoooooooooooth power delivery are highly desirable.

We had tons of UPS trucks with that motor when I was in college in the 90s and they were stump pullers.

I hot rodded the shit out of MANY of them lol.

Hey buddy. Thanks for the compliments. I bought the FFR COBRA roadster 3 years ago as a very nice driver and did a bunch of work to it to make it my own. Stuff like bigger Willwood brakes, 18” wheels and sticky rubber, shortened bulletproof rear end, fuel injection. And the whole electrically actuated removable Lemans hardtop I designed built and installed myself. However having turned 50 this year it turns out ALL the little things I absolutely loved about the car, the raw nerve raunchy power, toggle switches, fixed position seats, race kart stiffness were the same reasons I let it go. Two seats meant I could only take one of my two kids with me at a time to cruise nights. Wife didn’t complain but I’m sure preferred not smelling like fuel. She wasn’t a fan of the ear plugs either. Plus header heat with no air conditioning is tolerable but ....now ...with the GT350. Exotic flat plain VOODOO, track monster, air, luxury....you get it. Also my kids and I race 125cc shifter Karts and that will always scratch my raw nerve ITCH lol. Thanks so much for asking my friend.

You gotta give us a good write up on this. Why you did it and likes vs dislikes. I am very interested to hear your story as I have always wanted a Cobra and love the FFR. Maybe put it in the GT350 section. Two beautiful cars.

That is a gorgeous car and I love the green.

Yeah I do get it and that is why I own a 350. I am 52 and have always wanted a Cobra. All the reasons you list are why I have not owned on yet. Was very close to a Superformance when I bought my 13 GT500 vert. In all likelihood I will never buy one as they really do not make sense compared to today's modern machines, but it will probably be one of my biggest regrets. I also want a 67 Bronco, but figure I will want to trade it after two weeks of ownership.

Lol. I had a 78 and a 79 Bronco. Loved them both but unless it was totally updated to today’s tech it would be best it stays a fond memory.

I will say, I miss the driving experience of my e39. Not the ownership, just the driving

Did you have a M5 or a different e39?

Honestly my M5 has annoyed me a lot less than my mustang, which is part of the reason the mustang is parked in PA in winter storage and the M5 is at home in winter "storage". I don't have panel gaps or driveline vibes like I do in the mustang and they honestly offer very comparable straight line performance with the m5 having a lot more low end grunt and an overall higher top speed (186 vs 167).

But I have a thick binder of invoices and service history from this cars past so I know these things aren't Honda reliable. I've had good luck with mine so far at least.

It's supposed to be 55 on new years day so I'll probably take it out again just because.
