That body kit just doesn’t do much for me, compared to the stock Terminator body. Then again I like the Roush body more than the Saleen. With the price it seems to be more of a bragging rights ad than a for sale ad.

Pick your poison.

LOL that he put Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Aston Martin in the search terms. As if someone looking for any of those would be interested in that abortion.

The 351S was even more rare than a terminator.

I would say just add a built IRS to a 351S extreme and its a hell of a car to compare to a terminator

People on the internet need to learn rare does not equal more desirable/valuable.

Will the s351 6-700rwhp all day and survive? Its kinda cool that saleen managed to mate the 351 with the new edge but its a step backwards.

Lol yes the 351S extreme would have no issues running 6-700. No different than a terminator. Fuel supply from the factory is both cars weak points.

For a guy with a screen name 428mach you would think you know the power push rods could make on a daily.

I never respected sbf, worst engine fords ever made. Breathing through a straw isnt a good thing. A standard windsor block would split at 500ish. The svo block probably helps but i don't know what rotating assembly is capable of.

There was a Mystichrome one on eBay back in 06 or so...only $45k. I couldn't' swing it then, would have been the epic piece to my collection. I'd probably pay $50k or $60k for that now without thinking.

I prefer the cleaner looks of a stock terminator. Also having a stock long block capableof 700+rwhp appeals to me over a push rod 351.

I don't understand the saleen/Roush hype. The terminator made them obsolete.

The tall deck windsor in stock form will make 650+ with ease. Oem sbf heads may be trash, but the aftermarket castings out perfom almost anything on the modular market.

A good set of as cast afr heads will flow 300+ cfm before any porting.

To say the sbf is the worst engine ever is silly
There are big inch small blacks making dump truck loads of power.

Not a good argument since you were with her at one point.

As for a Saleen Terminator... there are a couple Mystichrome examples out there that are worth some serious cash-ola!
I believe I remember seeing that PW also had a Mystichrome saleen in his collection as well. Someone posted it on here a couple years back.

You clearly dont know anything about the 351w then.

Im guessing you think the 351w is the same as a 302 block. Explains why you said what you said.

The 351w is a tall deck block which it has no issues making 700hp and not splitting in half. In fact they can be bored and stroked to a 427 making 700hp plus all motor with no issues.

I'm aware that the 351W is a taller deck height to get the extra cubes, I figured its the same basic design so the limits would be similar, the 351C is around the same 5-600 horse power limits to the block as other SBFs unless you start sleeving and adding hardblock to get it to survive. I assumed a Windsor block would be no different, apparently Ford had hopes the aftermarket would make parts that could get a Windsor to perform.

Windsor based SBF's have been underwhelming since they came out, theres a reason for decades people tried to adapt a 351C intake/cylinder heads to them to make them perform before the aftermarket stepped up. That made them an engine that an entire generation never looked at as a performance engine. Theres a reason the SBF is out of production, its old, under performing, dated technology.
