Svtp has become one of the least brand loyal fanboy sites around, most respect all, I think its kinda weird to advertise a near impossible time like srt did but still, plenty in the 9's... Sit back and think about it, it runs 9s... From the factory.... If you could go back 10 years youd probably laugh at the thought of a factory 9 second car. So much salty
10 years ago ford did sell a factory stock with warranty and full manufacturers support race car. Now it might not have been street legal. But it still did exactly what they said it would. Gotsvt that’s great. 9.98 wow. I know a lot of you think that’s like almost the same as a 9.65. But it isn’t. I’m sure you guys think a pressure change or better da or whatever you people think will help the car go .33 seconds faster. And that might be true when we are talking about a car that runs 11’s and 12’s. But 9.98 and 9.65 are light years away from another. Oh and 9.98 is still not the fastest production car with a warranty quarter mile time.

I can't believe this is being discussed again. WTF is wrong with you guys. First, got to Hellcat.Org. There are a few owners that meet of beat the advertised ET with a stock Demon. Dodge already released the conditions and experience of the hero run. It can be duplicated if you got the money. Last... Dodge didn't advertise the car as the fastest or quickest car in the world. It was marketed as the quickest and most powerful "American" production passenger car, ever. At 840 HP and running 9's... that is not a lie.

That’s funny they meet or beat the advertisered time. Still zero proof of it. And they absolutely claimed and still claim it to be the fastest 1/4 mile car in the world. And it isn’t. YOu can’t argue facts. I can because I’m using them. They also claimed it’s the only factory car to be able to lift the front tires off the ground. Give me a break. They throw stupid claims out like that to cover the ridiculous claims they previously made to try and cover there rear ends. And he is willing to let me pay all expenses next spring to ship his demon to any track in the country you know for best results. And pay a professional to make as many passes as needed to beat his person best 10.13@133.

The only ads I see or have ever seen say quickest car in the world. Can you link from dodge where they say quickest in America only?

1- Let's see proof of these 100% stock cars running 9.65@140, that means no aftermarket tires, tunes, etc
2- Dodge marketed is as the fastest production car, not American car.

When ford wants to build a purpose built drag car they do it right. Cobra jet. When General Motors wants to built a super car beater they build the zr1.
