Fair price on chrome R wheels

Hello all
I got these with my cobra and will probably never use them. I’ve searched and found threads on the non chrome wheels but not much luck with these. Are these also y2k? Are these worth the same, less or what are your guys thoughts? They are in nice condition, tires are worn. Thanks

Cobra R actual sell prices have been taking a dramatic dip as of late so, I'm not sure as to the value of these wheels currently.
If nobody bites on these, pm me your sell price. I've got room to add a set.

Yes, those are the chrome version of the 2000R wheel. Those were sold thru the Ford Motorsport catalog.

Yes, this! The chrome wheels were not offered on the 00R. They were an aftermarket add on through Ford. I’ve seen one or two actual 00Rs with the added chrome wheels. Most of these wheels have found their way to non-R New Edge Stangs. They are great looking wheels, but I’m guessing they are worth a little less than original non-chrome wheels in like condition.

Thanks guys. These came with my 03 Cobra and I would rather have the stock wheels as a second set but if they are not worth much maybe I will just keep them. Thanks again

No one said they weren’t worth anything (double negative... I know).

Your wheels are definitely worth some money. All I was saying was a pristine set of original silver 00R wheels are highly desireable for those that want a set for their R. Anyone that has a decent R that has some wheels with damage would be a candidate to pay good money for a a nice condition original set. The chrome offerings from Ford typically end up on non-R New Edge Stangs. You’ll find plenty of interested parties. The 00R wheel is one heck of a good looking wheel and chrome takes them up a notch. They just weren’t original to the cars. Put them on your local Craigslist or even eBay as well as forums like this one... you’ll get some interest.

I understand. I guess what I meant was that they are nice wheels and I may just keep them. I would like a second set so If i have to pay more for OEM cobra wheels Ill just hold onto these. Thanks again
