Loved mine. P1SC at 7.5 lbs made 550 rwhp which was an absolute blast with the factory 3.73’s. Stock everything else except for deleted cats and Magnaflow axle backs. IMHO it sounded perfect, especially with the factory side pipes.

MUCH better choices for an 80 mile daily commute (straight line with the cruise control on).

Love it. My daily is usually a work van or truck but I want something to actually enjoy driving on the weekends and afternoons. A centri boss to me is the perfect car all around.

No one is confusing it because we have been rating the horsepower the same way for decades now. The understanding is that crank horsepower is the standard by which manufacturers rate and we as consumers can compare vehicles against each other based on that standardized rating. The only time whp matters more in a stock production car is when the car is making more whp than expected after parasitic loss or less whp indicating the car is overrated at the flywheel or is losing more horsepower than usual somewhere in the drivetrain. Once the cars are in consumer's hands the power ratings from that point on are rated at the wheels majority of the time.

I dont know anyone here that doesn't look at it that way. If the car makes under 700whp no one will care unless it indicates larger parasitic losses than normal. If the car is rated by Ford at 750hp then it is all but guaranteed that it will only make 6xx horsepower at the wheels, everyone knows that.
Interesting note:
662RWHP is about 779HP crank with 15% loss.

At this point... I'm bored of the teasers....since the first tease of the new GT500, here are the cars that have actually come out:

Hellcat
Demon
Hellcat Red eye
Corvette Z06
Corvette ZR1

The next GT500 needs to go big or go home.
you have a 2013 gt500 and you can't beat the cars you listed better get a better tune I can't wait to find these guys LOL

Yep. Thats why I will wait 2 years and buy a used one. Nothing worse than ADMs.
Unless you have to have it the first year, I’m confident with some hunting you can find a second year car at MSRP or better.
I’ve only bought 2 Mustangs new—2004 Cobra and 2014 GT500.
Both under MSRP and the second year usually brings some improvements or better options.
I’m excited to see it at the auto show, thankfully I’m close and that alone is worth the 45 min drive.

I am really not caring how much power it gets, the MSRP, markups are going to put it out of reach for most of us.
I bought a new '12. Shortly thereafter, the '13 info became public. So, I ordered a '13.
Sold the '12, been happy ever since.
This new car, I'm not feeling it, and it's not even been produced yet. A combination of the new body style and the late AF debut, I'm not a player. Not really even after the hype wears off after they arrive. I guess I've finally decided that I like what cars I have, and that'll do for now.
The only thing lacking is an 05/06 Ford purchase, then I'm officially done.

This brings us to the question... what is the new GT500 going to cost?
A new Hellcat red eye (797hp)wide body costs about 80k. Regular body 73k
A regular Hellcat (717hp) widebody is around 72k.
Standard Hellcat is 66k
Camaro ZL1 (650hp) is 63k but with discounts can be 5-8k off. 1LE is 72k.. again discounts are out there 6-9k off
Shelby GT350 starts at 59k with the R about 10k more on the siticker (found some marked up at 100k+)

So are we talking 70k base msrp plus options?
Or 80k plus options?
What are you guys thinking?
Will they sell with adm of 10-20k on top?

Me, I'm personally thinking it will be about 75K MSRP and then added ADM on top of that.
I can't see it being more than 83K. But, you never know. Gotta pay for all that research and development on the car as well.
