So I was searching the web over the weekend just fooling around and came across this website. Thought I'd share it with every one. I guess it searches all the classified websites on the web for cars in case you are looking for your dream car/truck/SUV. I'm not affiliated with them nor am I trying to promote them so if I am breaking rules a sincerely apologize. I just thought I'd share it with everyone cause it was kinda cool.

It's called Garage Recon.

Try it out, but I think they need to do some custom work on their search engine to narrow down what you are looking for.

Looks like the same concept just different developer

Not even close.

The one this thread is about seems to aggregate and list paid listing sites and only allows plain text searches without context of location. Searching for "car make/model location" brings up the same results as just searching for "car make/model."

The one that the actual dev posted about goes through FORUM listed cars, and allows major refinement of your search, a la Autotrader:

Yeah, the guy who developed Hidden Rides did an outstanding job.

Since it was mentioned and I've never used SearchTempest, how does it compare to AutoTempest?

So after using the web page I noticed the search engine was that great, so I made contact with the guys over at Garage Recon and let them know that they need to make their search engine better because if you look up say a 1972 Camaro Z/28 it give you results for all 1972 vehicles. This can be very frustrating when searching for a particular kind of vehicle. They said they would address the issue and see what they could do about it.
