either one of those is a good deal. if you wait a little longer they may offer more down but you may have to settle for something without the options you want

OP, did you buy the truck?

Also, you didn't mention it, but I assume those are RWD trucks? The leftover 2018 4WD trucks I see are still a few grand more

I'm looking too, for an F150, and wondering about resale. If my 2001 F350 dually was 4wd, it would have sold in a second. I got fair money, but it took a lot longer. Is there a big spread in 4wd vs 2wd in the resale F150 market, or when they get cheaper, people just want a truck. 2wd diesel dually isn't that great a truck in wet or snow

What makes you say that?

They are honestly building horseshit products now and it's costing more and more every year.
I know you end up with a poor quality product every now and then, but this 2017 I have I find more and more problems and only have 14k miles on it. I'm not alone in my area either as I have talked with a few others that have 2015 and newer F 150's that are falling apart. The 2014 I had was more of a truck.

Please be specific. I have a 2017 5.0 XLT SCrew FX4 with 20k on the clock and it's perfect, and I drive it like a Cobra.

Dash is rolling up by the defrost vents. SSM out from Ford says engineering is investigating....since May.
Both fog light lenses are cracking.
My windshield has a big distortion in it to the point it's distracting. Had to bitch like crazy to customer service. Was still working at the dealer at the time and couldn't get a new one. Finally did and this one is worse.
Have noises in the drivetrain, (humming) a pop in the rear suspension while turning and going over a bump like a difference in concrete height (driveway entrance), and in the driver's seat when you shift your ass from one cheek to the other. Sync doesn't always connect my phone, that's nothing new though been trouble since it's inception.
Leather coming off the steering wheel already. Drivers seat cover looks worse than my 14 when I traded with 48k miles on it.
Dash lights will be lit up when I come out to the garage 3 hrs after I parked it or in the morning sometimes.
It also doesn't pull my trailer as nice as my 14 did. Obviously because it's lighter.

Big Ford fan here too. Only ever bought new Fords. Had a couple GM's when I was young but way more Fords. Have to say, this vehicle has me pretty disappointed.

No it's actually a 5.0 and the engine is the only thing I'm satisfied with.

Crazy thing I’ve found is that you will always find similarly dissatisfied customers all across the brands. Seems like everyone has lemons.

What do you do when life gives you lemons?

Get yourself a beer, lemonade sucks!

The Truck I would buy. You can find them at about $35k now after $10k off.
