This, however, my 2006 SRT Charger has held up well. I'd love to compare it to a simlar year/mileage car from Ford/GM. These seats are still comfy af with no rips or anything, hell, I don't even treat them and they're still in good shape. Now my New edge GT......what a POS lol.

Completely agree....some people forget these manufacturers go through highs and lows.

Like 99-04, Ford was YIKES (I get it, 03-04 cobras are created by the Heavens...but for real)

05-14 dodge stuff is hit and miss.

But by god if those 05-09 SRT8s don't haul ass....

Super Duty and Excursions weRE built pretty damn tough. The 7.3's and 2v V10 versions just keep going and going and going with proper maintenance of course. The F150s were pretty solid too. Improper spark plug maintenance on the Tritons caused them to spit plugs early on, but it was largely resolved by 2002.

I agree though, Ford cars were kinda rough at that time. They dont hold a candle to how bad Chrysler was back then though...

Don’t forget the 00R in Ford’s dark ages.
I have a soft spot for a 6.1 Challenger. One day I might own one. And conveniently I’ve heard they were the best Hemi for boost by dodge before the hellcat came out.

Just remember, every manufacturer has issues. How many f150 owners had problems with door latches not working in the cold with their 15+ f150.

It’s still a stellar truck though.

Its under warranty right? Who cares. Have them fix it.

Its a car, and that's what warranty is for. Just explain that the issues make you a bit nervous and see what the dealer says. Women do some DUMB shit with cars. Never know how the latch may have gotten damaged....

I'd snag it up. And not give the door issues a second thought.

And for all the guys hammering on Dodge, 2015+ Dodge vehicles are leaps and bounds better in terms of quality / fit & finish compared to their broker days.

Only the real Dodges though! Their original cars are okay but the Fiat based models are still garbage! The Chrysler 200, Dart, and various small Jeeps are majorly worse than quality found in the Ram, GCherokee, Charger, Challenger, etc.

That’s with any manufacturer, the bottom of the barrel bullshit cars aren’t exactly quality.

Chevy Aveo
Ford Focus
Dodge Dart

All piles of shit. Hahahaha

Even RS head gasket issues. What about the ST?

I have a 14 ST and it has been great. I used to frequent focus st forums and didn't see many people saying they were bad.

The RS though has more issues. The regular focus doesnt seem that bad either, not sure what he is talking about.

Of the 3 listed, the focus is clearly better than the aveo or dart.
