Holy crap. Hadn't read about this beast until now. Very exciting project for sure. Cant believe how much tech they're pushing into a street car but then again it wont be cheap. Very sweet for sure!

@treynor? Bout time you got your first Aston Martin? Lol

I considered it. It's basically a street-legal LMP car, which is an odd duck - very compromised for street driving, and none of the safety systems you'd want in a track car of that caliber. I'm sure it will be a valuable collector item, and I expect the track version of it will be absurdly quick.

I do expect it'll clean house on production car lap records. This is in a different category (in both price and specs) from anything which has come before, even the Senna.

Solid points I never would have thought about. By nature it has to play duel roles and maintain streetablility while essentially being more powerful than the majority of racecars in existence. Same concept has been done with other cars but definitely not to this caliber obviously. I do believe they are making a track ready version too though as well, like they have with the Vulcan. Coolness factor is simply off the charts though.

@AustinJ427, I just remembered... the name I was thinking of is Gordon Murray I think. He led McLaren's comeback and is doing TVR's as well, right?

Too be honest, I'm not sure. I haven't looked into it.

If he has even half the success with TVR as he did with Mclaren, it should be a knock out.
