This might be interesting. I prefer poached, but at home I usually do soft boiled.
I have been on a grits, sausage, and scrambled egg fix for a couple of days now and love it.
I make the grits (using milk of course), cook up the sausage and then throw the sausage into the grits. I then throw the egg batter into the pan with the leftover sausage grease and scramble the eggs. Then the eggs are thrown into the grits. I mix it all up and have myself an excellent grits, sausage, and eggs soup.
I'm really doing this for hypertrophy, so I am just looking at easy sources of the three macronutrients in the morning.
someone needs to teach you how to make grits ... hint: it does not include milk
