Couple specific questions I wanted to pose. I have already been through the few 15 short block swap threads I could find. I know you need to swap the timing stuff, and something in regards to the oil filter either using an adapter or plugging a hole. Is there a part number for the oil filter adapter? My main question is when also swapping to the 15 heads, what head gaskets are recommended to use? I'm guessing the 15+ gaskets? Or are the Boss 302 gaskets better. I'm looking to end up around 750-800 whp with a paxton supercharger. Since they will be new 15 heads, is there any write ups of any sort going over how to finish assembling them with the lash adjusters etc.? I'm relatively handy with a wrench and feel comfortable with putting everything together just haven't ever done it before so I am looking for a couple pointers on it. I've already got billet OPGs and CS, but while I've got the motor being assembled is there any other random bolts/parts recommended to be upgraded? Planning to assemble with ARP head studs, but thats currently it. Maybe boss 302 or better chain tensioners or guides? And if I were to spring for cams, who are the go to companies for custom ground cams? Thanks for all the help!

Also looking for information on this. Found a whole 2015 coyote motor for cheap and wondering what the process would be to swap it into my 2012.

Would also be curious to know if anyone has specifics on doing the 18 shortblock swap? From what I was able to gather its almost identical to the 15 swap just using the 18 block instead. I'd imagine that would actually the best possible route to take! 18's have higher compression but stronger cylinder walls I believe? So should be stronger for high power setups than just the 15 block. And as we've seen the 18's can handle some serious power on just stock motors.

You have a lot of questions. I would highly recommend getting in touch with Kevin the owner of flimflam speed located in Richmond va. He’s the man with mustangs http://www.flimflamspeed.com
Yeah I'm familiar with Kevin, I actually had the car on his dyno at the beginning of september. I know he's a busy guy so I wasn't looking to bother him, but I guess I could haha.
