I don’t feel like typing that much. Many stories, good and bad and his hot ass girlfriend.

Just have to add that my friend from the Marines have been the best friends I have ever had. We live somewhat close but we talk every day in group text and we are always trying to stay involved woth ea h others' lives. Even with my friend of 20 years like I mentioned before, we never had that type of closeness.
Shared experiences are the bedrock of meaningful friendships.
Im 28 and still close with my two best friends I met in the 1st grade.

Mine is 19 years. Met in 7th grade and to this day is still my best friend at 31. If some of you remember some of my weekend plans thread post, he’s the one that owns the grand national. We have another really good friend we met in high school but, the past 3 years haven’t hung out as much, he changed a lot after getting married.
I know I will always be very close to my best friend though, our wifes get along very well as they’re both special Ed teachers, so they have a lot in common with work stuff.

Met my wife and best friend (besides her) around the same time. Circa 2004, so 14 years. He is one of my sister's ex-boyfriends. Always had fast and clean ass Honda's growing up and we just kept in touch. He's been converted to V8's now, so I'm doing something right with him. Lol

Oldest, The guy who was best man in my wedding. There are pics of us between the age of 2-3 together. We are a couple month apart but both 48 now so at least 45 years.
Grew up across the street from each other. Still pretty close.
Couple others go back many years like at least 35.

I'm 38 years old and I'd have to say my longest friendship is probably at least 33 years. Our parents knew each other that's how we met. He'll be in town next week, can't wait to hang out.

We talking real friends, or "Facebook friends"? I dont have FB, but I know a lot of people stay in touch with old friends via FB, but I wouldn't call them friends.
48 years. Would still be going strong but he passed last year.
