I don't use the service and never even knew it existed before last night, but for some reason it's blocking a SHIT ton of websites on my home network. Even some social media and non nude, SFW picture sites.
My research leads me to believe that because of a dynamic IP address system, I was given an IP that someone used previously in conjunction with OpenDNS. Well the ****ing thing follows IPs and not a physical device, so now I'm stuck with it until God knows when. I've submitted a support ticket at OpenDNS, but I've heard their response time is shitty.
I've created an account, assigned my network to their system and unblocked/unfiltered everything possible but to no avail. I've also tried manually assigning a DNS using Google's public system, but to no avail either. What do I do? What can I do? This is seriously frustrating!
