Well in the never ending quest to go faster....

Sold my T-56 magnum tonight along with everything needed for a swap..

Freddy Brown 4r70 built for 1500hp is going in. no o/d. full lock up converter. CF driveshaft will be going in the next couple of months. Rear end will be built in the next couple weeks as well.

Going to figure out what I'm going to do for a shifter setup next.. Kinda at a loss for all that lol.

Thank you!! That’s what I plan to do. Problem is I need a 01-04 center console and then I need to paint it. I really don’t want to swap lol.

Lucky for you, I have an 01-04 radio bezel already dyed to match our black, you would just need to find the lower console.

would the swap to "newer" console be due to the ashtray location or cup holder i assume ? also im curious to see what your car picks up at the track, cause i have similar power with a magnum as well

Yea because of the cup holder

If I had to guess if I keep the same pulley combo I’ll go mid 9s right off the bat with the auto setup.

Mine is a forward shifting setup as well. You had to modify the bezel I see.

How do you like the stock location setup?

Yes had to soften up the leather to stretch and massage the bezel... stock location works good... The button on the handle is trans brake/reverse..

Why would someone go from a YSI to a JT?

Any plans to up the boost?

So the guy bought it but his 2v is 8.5 compression stock ecu and he can’t spin the ysi hard enough. I’m not complaining.

As of right now the JT is off just finished. I’ll post pics. Gonna keep the ysi 3.33” to see what happens with the boost pressure. I was making 15 at 6400 with the JT and it was out of steam. So with the same pulley I’ll bet I make 18-19 now. And pick up about 100+rwhp. But it’ll be scewed because I’m going auto. It’ll be a lock up converter though. So I won’t drop to much.

I think it’ll make between 900-950 through the auto on ignite e90 and the ysi with the same pulley combo

Thank you for the feedback!!

JT-trim is shipped.

YSI-trim should be here in a couple days or less.

Rear end is going to the drivetrain shop tomorrow to get fixed :)

Next up is pulling the T56 Magnum and all associated things for the new owner..

Then Auto installed Feb/March or so of next year.
