Just wondering what kind of rwhp gain I can expect going from 3.5” pulley to 3.0” pulley on the 2.9 Whipple Crusher?

It's like guessing dog years.

3.5P - 3.0P = 5 lbs of boost @ 20hp per 1lb =100hp.

I have a 3.4/crusher. gained well over 100 hp & tq when going from a 4.0P to a 3.5P. But when I go to a 3.0P I don't expect to see that gain.

Man thats going to be a lot of boost. I still have the smaller upper pullies and larger lower pullies from back when I ran a Whipple 2.3 but after running a 3.5 upper and stock lower with the 3.4 Crusher set up I saw 26# similar to what you see and that was enough for me. Haha. Nice build you have going on there.

Not a Whipple, but for what it's worth, I gained 50whp on my KB 2.8 with Behemoth intake, by dropping one pulley size (3"-2.75") with the stock lower.

I thought you were at 28? What's a couple more PSI?
