Thats insane. your car makes 480rwhp. It runs crazy strong. so if you are beating cars making 620-660rwhp by lengths, one would need over 700rwhp to beat you?

not at my post...
No way a H/C/I LS3 is putting down 620 RWHP NA. H/C/I LS7s struggle to make that much NA. I have seen 560ish RWHP out some max effort combos on the LS3, maybe a little more, but 620 RWHP is a little hard to believe.

Z28’s have an LS7, Pedro.

I missed the z28 part until you pointed it out.

Yep. What I find slightly difficult to believe is a 480rwhp Gen 1 Coyote bested a 620rwhp LS7 Z/28. Unless the Z/28 was on stock tires. Even then that’s a 140rwhp gap and not to mention the torque differences.

480rwhp seems low for a coyote with FBO, cams and on E85. Would think you'd be making 510-520rwhp unless you were on a low reading dyno. There's no way that Z28 making 620rwhp on that setup. Even though that's a big ass cam, I don't care what intake or how far you ported the stock heads, you're not getting 620rwhp out of that setup especially since there's no mention of an exhaust setup. I feel like the real numbers for both cars are more like 510-520rwhp for the coyote and 550-560rwhp at best for the camaro. Great races though!

Lets not forget weight difference between these cars. If the OP is trapping ~128 like his sig states a FBO/cam z28 should be in that high 120's ballpark trapspeed wise considering most of the cam C6z's go entry level 130's.

Still surprised by the rape laid on that z28 with all that being said.

Z28 is a heavy bitch i think its in the middle of 38xxlbs, also if the car is on stock trofeo R tires, that setup is meant for road course duties. Wide front tires is bad for straight line speed contest.
A base model '12 coyote car comes in around 35xx. Take out the spare and rear seat and if this thing is on a diet I can see the car coming down to 34xx or even less. Solid axle car is lighter.

I went 2 out of 3. First race he spun. The 2nd race he left a little early and as I started to pull him in, I let out because I thought I blew a baffle out of one of my mufflers (it ended up being fine) and the last run he left on 2 and I recovered the one car jump from the early leave and passed him to the agreed end speed.

Maybe the 5.0 has a shot of nitrous?
No nitrous on my car, not yet at least. Although, I'm really liking the reliability and relatively maintenance free aspect of all motor.

My car definitely only makes 480 and that's normal for a gen 1 car with all the supporting mods. 2 other cars have near identical combos as mine and on the same dyno we are within 4 rwhp of one another. The z28 also definitely made 620rwhp according to the dyno it was tuned on. I don't really care to argue these things because myself and the camaro owner (now ex owner) don't have anything to lie about.

The camaro was relatively full weight and he did have the passenger counting down the runs as well as recording, so his car was definitely right at 3800-3900 lbs. My car is 3400 lbs on the nose.

If he had a passenger that car with two occupants is definitely over 4000, hell, if both of those guys were just 100lbs, itd still be over 2 tons.

That car also had weight reduction done to it, hence why I said it’s at the guesstimated weight even with the passenger. Just about every car that goes out to our meets, especially the NA ones, have a bit of weight reduction performed.

Fuggin great races!! Who cares how much power each has that was fantastic to watch.

Also liked watching you row gears to an 11 flat at 128.

Great videos!
