I'd like to get that spreadsheet from you!

If that doesn't work, let me know.

Edit: I've tried a few things and it's not working to where you guys can click and edit/download it for yourselves. Someone can try and search in Google Sheets search bar for "AR Build Template" and it should pop up by my name which is "TmaR" and click and go from there. If not, anyone can PM me their emails and I can send it over through there in which I know it will work.

For anyone who has Excel, this link will download as an Excel file and you can edit in there.

I don't want to know what I have in a gun after it's 'done'. haha

I built one using that to outline my next build. That is also why I have not started it yet lol. I’m going for a lightweight build next, and I think I was around $22-2500. Buuuut, I like being able to lay everything out in front of me and I can price watch heavily with it lol.

I did the math on my 300 BO... that was when I made a decision that sometimes its okay to lie to my wife.

He is a Marine. He knows how to obey simple commands, drink beer, chase women, and kill stuff. Do not take this advice without spending time on Parris Island. Marines are conditioned to act, not think. Thinking will more than likely get you killed. Thinking later will have you asking how you were not killed.

I’ll simply say this could not be less accurate.

DPMS is another good, cheaper brand. The Oracle 5.56 is decently priced for what you get. We have a .308 from them and it has never given an issue yet.

Could not disagree more. DPMS is a horrible brand and the Oracle is a terrible rifle.

I bought a new Oracle that wouldn't feed ammo if there were more than 7 rounds in the mag. I tried 10 different mags. Sent it in for repairs. They claimed they could duplicate the problem. The store took it back and gave me another one. The safety was seized in the fire position straight out of the box. I just drilled it out and put an aftermarket safety in it. Took it to the range. It shot 6 MOA groups. Took it back to the store and got a refund.

Then, I went through 3 SASS' built by DPMS on the 308 LRT platform in 2 months. The best one shot a 3 MOA group. Two of them had the same type of feed issue the Oracle had. The worst one shot 6 MOA and blew burnt powder in my face every shot I fired. Like to the point that every 8 or 10 shots I had to take my glasses off and clean them.

As far as I am concerned DPMS doesn't exist.

Our .308 out of the box was no worse than our S&W M&P out of the box. I've used their parts before and had no issues. I don't mind the .308 we have at all, it's always been fun to shoot and has not had a feeding issue on my father, brother or myself yet.

I'm glad they are doing well for you. That's a plus for you, for sure. They lost me as a customer, likely forever.
