I have a Cobra that came with a KB BAP wired post FPDM and dual SVT Focus pumps. Setup to use the hobbs switch and knob that connects to the RCA connector.
I plan on wiring pre-fpdm like my other car, but in the meantime until I figure out some other bugs, its still post-fpdm.
I bypassed the hobbs switch so its on all the time. When the RCA connector is hooked up to the knob, the pumps run all the time with key on/engine off. When the knob is unhooked, the pumps prime like normal and turn off.
Here are my questions:
With the knob un-plugged, will the BAP just act in a failsafe mode and just pass voltage through it? I don't want the pumps running all the time with the engine off.
Im not sure if the PPRV is installed still.. Without it, will the pumps dump excess fuel pressure at all?
