Beware that there are many different compounds for the Hawk pads and some are strictly race pads that require heat before they will work. The HP5.0, HPS, or HP Plus are probably your best bets.

I got the HPS and I got them from Amazon but they aren't in stock there anymore. Ton of places sell the pads for about the same $85 price point. I will say having the Brembos isn't like the PBRs. Stainless brake lines and all as well and it feels like you need more pedal effort to make it stop but holy shit it'll stop fast if you need it to.

What compound are the Ford M-2300-XP pads?

They are produced by Galfer for Brembo. A call or e-mail to them would probably turn up the information. They are quiet and grab well, but a bit on the dusty side which is a minor trade-off.

I've seen the Galfer name before, but I never put 2 and 2 together and came up with them as a manufacturer. They are mostly into motorcycles, ATVs, and karts from their website. I assume the 3214 is the compound code which doesn't appear in their literature, so I'm assuming its a custom compound for Ford.

Okay, now for rotors. Previous owner has autozone front 13 inch rotors on.

Looking for comments on two piece light weight rotor options please.
