again why does doing that mean death wish?people are shot everyday somewhere in the world,so is it a death wish for them to leave their homes to go to the store?the USA has more accidents on the highway than they do on the highway in germany with no speed limit,so do all of those people have a death wish?

If you're justifying driving 200+ mph on public roads, you're not even as smart as the guy doing it.

The Audi club rents Daytona in early December and does a 3 day lapping fest on the Rolex course.

I trailered my car there in 2015 from Toronto to run the course (bucket list item checked off). They run Friday, Saturday, Sunday. When I was there I only did the first 2 days, but I heard that in previous years on the Sunday they let the cars run the oval.

My engine is basically stock when I was there with the exception of the ORX so I didn't have to run there with cats and from the end of the bus stop through turn 3 and 4 down the tri oval to the hairpin into the infield my car would consistently hit 175mph or so before braking down the 60-65mph to make that corner.

If you run the whole NASCAR oval this car should easily be able to hit 200+, so basically if you want to give it a shot go there and try it.
