bullseye turbo?

Hey guys I change my mind all the time but at this point I am looking at a CG fab turbo kit for cold and hot side for my 03 cobra, so I am just deciding on twin turbos or single? I heard the bullseye turbos are awesome, and was wondering if going with a single bullseye turbo would do well for a street car? or should I stick with the entry level percision 50ish mm turbos?? I dont mind alittle lag as I think it may help the car hook, just with my ported eaton in 1st it still will spin the tires if you wanna really nail it hard... thanks again... I just wanna get this right buy once and forget it...

I personally don't see the benefit of twins on the street. Twice the piping, WG's, turbo's, etc. I make ~8 lbs of boost by 3500rpm with an 0.96 A/R housing. Lag is not an issue if you have the right size A/R. This is on a billet wheel 67mm PTE turbo.

And you're right about giving the car a chance to get out of the whole before it starts freight training - gotta love that torque curve.

I thought you picked up a twin kit already? Just start building what you got, you'll be happy either way.

I did just pick up one but the turbos needed a rebuild and I was missing a few pieces ... so being new in the turbo world I wanted to just resell and start over with new pieces that has everything I need to do it and I dont have to guess at how to fit missing parts. So I am gonna just do cg fab stuff because I've heard alot of good reviews with this kits, and I called jose and force inductions he is gonna set me up with one of their 76mm billet turbos with .96 ar. He said a new 5.0 was hitting 7.9 with it and it spools good so that's my plans now like ya said just a single no need for twins. I now understand a good single will do what we need and twins are good for 1400 plus hp stuff..

CG Fab makes great stuff, no doubt. At least the last time that I looked into it though, you still have to piece together their hot side with your own BOV's, WG, silicone tubing, intercooler, cold side piping, oil feed and drain lines, bung for oil pan, radiator pipe (to not melt the rubber depending on where the turbo is positioned), vacuum lines, random hoses and clamps, heat wrap, etc. Don't forget a tubular K-member and coil-overs.

Make sure you have a exhaustive list of everything you'll need before you start. Call up CG Fab and see if they have an example parts list or something otherwise you could go with a comprehensive kit.

Yea cg fabrication has the bov, wastegate band clamps, intercooler. All I need is the misc stuff like ya said, I do have mm coilovers with the stock bilsteins, I gotta grab a upr k member

after looking into it I see you are right about the wastegate and bov, he just has the flange stuff ready for these items, if I dont get into a big hurry I probably could piece the misc. stuff together and still save a few dollars.

I thought CG started offering a cold side?

Built my fox one myself but I'd prefer a pre fabbed one this go around.

OP look at race parts solutions. They have a lot of what you need. Haven't used them in a decade but they were the go to on turbomustangs.com. now the turbo forums.
