If you paint the bumper to match the paint, or go black, and delete the grill this will look pretty good.

For the amount of money this car costs, nobody should have to paint shit to make it look right. The black bumper is hideous. Ford needs to change that. The rest of the car is sweet. It's a more muscular looking GT350R...and that's not a bad thing as the R is a gorgeous / badass car.

This past Wednesday (10/17/2018) I was leaving Vegas and was at the airport around 12:30pm when I ran into a ton of Ford folks from this event. I believe the event was called "Inside the Oval" or something like that. Anyways, as I'm standing in the TSA line, I chat up a couple guys from Ford who still had on their event tags. They confirmed that they just saw the car literally an hour or so ago - both stated that the car was ridiculously loud. When asked for details, they didn't give up too much at all. I took it that they weren't being coy, but rather that they didn't have much real information on the car. When asked about HP/TQ numbers, they both responded "more than 700". They then switched conversation to the new Explorer and were raving about it. When I went back to the GT500 topic, they said they really didn't get much information at all from the event.

Later, in the airport, I went to Wendy's and chatted up another guy from Ford (he had a Mustang backpack and Ford blue oval lapel pin) and he confirmed that he was also at the event and had just seen and heard the new GT500. Again, not much details, but he also stated more than 700HP. When asked about release date, official information release date, engine, DCT, manual, etc. etc. he seemed to get annoyed with me and said that he didn't have any other information to share.

Sorry for no new information, but thought I would share my recent experience.

So you met a bunch of Ford guys and learned nothing new? Thanks for the 2 paragraphs.

Honestly, anyone who buys a civic just shouldnt talk about cars, period. And "but but but its so fun in the twisties" is such a gay ass ricer thing to say.
Im not trying to defend the guy but anyone who judges a car with no real world experience and calls it gay just because he doesn't understand more than one aspect of the automotive world is the one who shouldnt talk about cars

Were you dropped as a child? Demon SMOKES the Z06 and GT3 in a straight line. Type R is more fun than both in the twisties. Why do you even care what I drive/own? I could buy whatever I want and choose a Demon/Type R and I am happy as ****...you're the unhappy one constantly crying about my purchases.
Not a bit. I’m trying to figure out why you’re boasting of your dodge/Honda purchases on a Ford forum instead of enjoying your cars.

And both the z06 and GT3 are a ton more fun to drive than any demon. Hell I’d rather have the HC over the demon.

You'd rather have a gt3 over a civic? Man you're craaaazy
I’d rather have a GT3 over a demon and civic too.

Come on guys ... @Kaneda is kind of a fun guy.

I think it’s hilarious how he gets everyone worked up.

He doesn’t even troll much... just points out the holes in Fords game and everyone gets all bent.

There are definitely holes in Fords game but they are not what Kaneda points out.

After all anyone can put a bigger blower on a car like dodge did with the demon.

Just because you rather have one car than 2 doesnt mean his choice is wrong. A Demon and a Type R is actually a pretty badass setup. I personally would take just a gt3 as well but only because we dont have a single straight road here

KANEDA, the Redeye MSRP starts at $71,045...what options are available on it that add up to $15,000 more?

Yup...that's where it starts, in NON-Widebody form...here's the options list...well into Mid 80's. Ford won't have options like this, but they will make the car priced like a widebody/loaded redeye. You guys think Ford is going to sell you a 750+ BHP car for less than $80,000?

Kind of a dick thing to say. He was merely conveying how little information is given out about the car and how serious they take that.
Now apologize to that man

I'm sorry he needed two paragraphs to say he got nothing. But the Ford book bag sounded cool...Maybe I can find one and put my Civic in it?

Let me ask you one simple question:

Have you ever been in a Demon?

Go ask my friend who has a GT3 and McClaren who just drove it why he's smiling ear to ear...not because he can't wait to get back into his GT3. I'm not boasting about my Demon...you are.

Cool story, and I followed a 700rwhp 3800lb 13 boss home yesterday. It’s easy to add power.
