Damn, the 3900lb avantador sv handles better the your type R. There goes that theory....You don't get it man. No way a 4,200 pound GT500 will ever provide the handling characteristic of a 3,100 pound Type R.

He is sadly right though...Damn, the 3900lb avantador sv handles better the your type R. There goes that theory....
You can say the same thing about the Miata or fist or e30 m3 or any number of light vehicles. It does change characteristics, however top cars will have greater handling numbers than his r and demon! He is sadly right though...
Sure but once you put the magazines down and drive a ton of varitey on track cars like the type R make perfect sense, its just ugly AFYou can say the same thing about the Miata or fist or e30 m3 or any number of light vehicles. And yet I’d rather have the c5/c6z06 or GT3 with the same 3100lbs.Sure but once you put the magazines down and drive a ton of varitey on track cars like the type R make perfect sense, its just ugly AF
Do you really think Ford is going to price this car below mid 80s loaded? Add tax, ADM, you are looking at EASILY 100K out the door year one.
Sucks when a HUGE car reveal is spoiled with shitty cell phone pics like this...really feel bad for all of the people and plans Ford had that have now been spoiled. That being said, the car looks cool. It's not OMG, WOW!!!! And I think that's because the GT350R had that effect on all of us years ago and now we are sort of used to this design.
The front feels like a huge miss. Simply because the racing stripes are broken up by way too much black. Looks more like an Audi front end than a Mustang.
Love the back spoiler.
Not digging the white stripe along the side of the car. Felt the GT350R's side just looks much sleeker and cleaner and somehow that sticker (albeit a GT500 tradition) just feels off here and tacked on just so differentiate the car vs it enhancing the looks.
Also the wheels look exactly the same as the GT350R's. They couldn't design a new pattern, really?
Overall, it is what we thought it would be. A beefed up GT350 with more power, more weight...and....WAY MORE MSRP coming soon! This will be 100K to get out the door.
You'd rather have a gt3 over a civic? Man you're craaaazyAnd yet I’d rather have the c5/c6z06 or GT3 with the same 3100lbs.
Whats this gayness Im hearing about a 4 door mustang in the works? I guess since they killed off all their other car lineup they had no choice. Its becoming increasingly likely that I will no longer be a Ford guy moving forward. I know, I know, you guys and Ford are all devastated at this news. LOL
News travels very fast on the Net. Anyone interested in the new GT-500 will likely have seen/will see the leaked reveal photo. Ask Nick what he thinks about the leaked reveal. The reveal isn't spoiled. There are still plenty of people who haven't seen this yet and won't see it until the official reveal. I was watching some videos over the weekend and noticed that the front does actually resemble a '17 Audi A8. The wheels do not look exactly the same as the R's. From what I can tell in the pics, the spokes aren't the same. If it really is "just a beefed up GT350", that's still not necessarily a bad thing. I'm confident that it's more than that, though.
And yet I’d rather have the c5/c6z06 or GT3 with the same 3100lbs.
Yes, it makes zero sense to be so far in price above their competition. Look for it to be loaded for about 74-76k.
