Friday night my wife and I carved some pumpkins... actually she needed help so I ended up carving both.

Saturday we went to a local brewery and I brought home a couple of their IPAs called black bomber. I only got them because they’re 12% abv.

And today I’m detailing my Harley. I strip it down to get every nook and cranny.

Those are great retaining wall blocks!

I like them, they've done me well.

I had a small wall built about 10 years back when I had a piece of my property flattened for RV parking (my house sits on a hill). Im extending that parking spot another 15 feet (bought a larger RV lol) and was so happy with how those blocks worked up to this point I decided to buy 100 more of the exact same ones.

The original wall hadn't moved an inch. They do work well.

After a little help, I finished up with the Harley.

Probably can’t tell the difference but it’s spotless now.

Looks great. My son rides an R6 to work at a local hospital. He sent me a picture the other day of a parking ticket he got from hospital security. There were several boxes on the ticket checked for illegal parking, parking in an unauthorized area, etc. The last box that was checked was a fill in the blank. Turns out one of the security guys that he knows rides a Harley and wrote "parked in Harley parking only". Was pretty funny.

Lol. I’m not that type of person, where if you don’t ride a cruiser/Harley type bike I automatically don’t like you or vise versa. I respect all riders as long as you respect me.

The security guy wrote it as a joke. It was all in fun.

And my son is the same way. So was I when I rode.

Last weekend I went to a trunk or treat with the mustang club. Although it would slightly be considered blasphemy (took my Chevy). As usual when I take one car, one like my other cars, shows up at the show.

I’m not the only supercharged Roush in town anymore!

On the bright side, your daughter will appreciate (eventually) the great lengths you go to to make her number one. And that’s a win.

Yeah, I wonder. She's only 7. I don't think I remember anything from that age, much less appreciate it. It won't stop me from acting with integrity, but if her mom is filling her head with lies behind my back, she might wind up hating me anyhow.

I try not to worry about it, but it's hard for me. I'm a worry wart by nature.

I can’t say I remeber a lot from when I was 7...but keep doing you. It may be when she is 25, 35, etc but she’ll eventually realize the depth of your actions.

Thanks! I was surprised they came out good being my first time carving a pumpkin. Haha! Yeah it’s either French vanilla or hazelnut for us.
Mmmmm, French Vanilla!

This. While she may not remember 7 when she's 30, it's a cumulative thing. She'll grow up with a realization that her dad was not petty and showed her how to not be selfish.
