Don't get on the forums much but badass to see you working hard at it and with upgrades still rolling in!

Curious to see how your car reacts to changing the head unit.

Yea me too. Hopefully it’ll respond well. I think it will.

New job, new hours and new born consuming all my time!

You ever go to lone tree Starbucks cars n coffee? I just heard about it.

I don't know how you resist the urge to auto-swap this car.

The urge is very much there. The trans is sitting at the shop. Problem is it’s going to be 10k or so to install. And I don’t have that laying around. And I’d need to pull my magnum and sell all that stuff. The six speed is a lot of fun right now as is too. It's challenging which I like.

So I think I know where some of my MPH went on my last track day. I was down about 2psi, and when I had the car up on jackstands I saw some belt dust.. Looks like I'll be changing the belt to a fresh one when I'm home. I think I'm going to make that a every 3-4th track outing precautionary change..

Can't wait to get back out in October on a real tire that's for sure.

Good place to start and good preventative maintenance practice to help with consistency and minimize the chance of a break down from a belt or pulley bearing going bad.

Yea that's my thought as well. It's not the easiest thing to do with my timing cover. I have to loosen the bracket bolts and slide the entire until away from the cover to route the belt. Kinda sucks, but I'm sure I'll get good enough at it to where I can do it in under 20mins lol

I see thats about the same as the procharger setup then, definitely one of those skills you wish you didn't have to develop lol

I recall these days of backing the bracket back to slip the belt between the timing cover and blower. Then I changed timing covers on the 2 valve and belt changes got real easy.

However, I remember from start to finish was about 30 minutes once I got it dialed in. Had a belt change tool kit and belt on standby.

ahaha nice!! By belt change tool kit, you mean all the tools necessary to pack the bracket off and stuff? I'll be putting one of those together for the track I'm sure lol.

Yup, exactly. Minimum tools required for that task. Occupational work habit, haha.

Well I've been back from deployment for about 18 days.. There really isn't much new. Sold my HRE's to my buddy, and picked up a set of welds from another buddy, had the suspension adjusted for the 28" tires, put on a Gates HD belt and I'm ready to roll :) Waiting for TNT on NOV3rd, and maybe a rental in December. :)
