Installed the complete kit in January. Drove on Procharger tune about a month. About the best I can say about that tune was that it started right up and it drove but definitely not as good as I was hoping(bad fuel economy/questionable shifts).

Palm beach dyno Rob shoemaker tune woke car up and made it right.

This is 100% my daily driver. Wasn't looking to set any internet records or break any world records just a problematic free fun car to drive on the interstate basically.

Drove it for another 8 or so months and started hearing everyone jerk off about the 2018 manifold so I eventually got one.

Referencing another thread on here from Bill at HP tuners with his good results and said the 2018 manifold probably didn't need a tune revision. He was right.

Car feels incredible and gets 20 miles per gallon when you're just cruising it around like a normal person.

With all this so far I figure I'm pretty much done with what I need for a somewhat sensible daily driver so I figured I would just go ahead and Dyno it and see what it was.

I'm sure there's somebody somewhere that's made more with less or whatever their friends Brothers cousins told them but I'm happy with this.

7psi....47/52? Lb. included kit injectors....P1X head unit....cat deletes...automatic....20" wheels.... 93 Shell octane gas.

For whatever reason they kept getting an erratic torque rating but I wasn't really concerned about that I think it was something like 480.

I was also able to make the stock engine cover fit on the 18 manifold.

Thanks.

I was able to get a 7.68@95 in the 1/8th mile on the same 20" tires I drive on.

2.0 60fts leaving in 2nd gear. I'm sure with that mile per hour it would do a 6 something on a drag tire but I've done that before and I'm over that.

I wish I had gotten it dynod before the manifold and then after but it felt good back then and I wasn't really concerned.

However that Dyno graph does explain what I felt after I put the manifold on. It definitely just keeps pulling up top. I didn't really notice anything else in the RPM band.

What's with the green belt on the procharger? Is it just for looks or is it better than the regular black belt that comes with the kit?

Thanks, You happen to know the part number of the green belt? I'm running a 4.5" pulley which uses the same belt as the 4.38"

How'd you get that engine cover to fit on the 18? I have the same setup and would love to have the cover back. Looks plain as hell especially coming from a CJ setup.

Well...first you gotta get rid of that now useless bracket on the back of the 18 manifold.

Next the 4 pin holes almost line up(width wise) so you need something to lift the manifold up ant an inch and be able slightly bend.

I used some leftover chopped up 3/8 hose and zip ties. Then I scrounged in the garage and found 2 old brake caliper guide pins and chopped them up to get 4 "pins". You could do the same with a bolt...jus cut the heads off.

Place the inch or so hose over the 50 cover pins....zip tie. Place pin in hose zip tied to cover. Zip tie pin to hose.

Place cover on drivers side holes in manifold then jus wiggle the other 2 on.

It's not perfect...kinda ghetto....but only if you tell people.

To 99% they'll never know.
