If this is true this is ****ing stupid. Im specifically selling my cars to get into a smaller truck and this would have been EXACTLY what I wanted.

I guess that Tacoma is looking more and more enticing.
I dont want a full size truck ( F150) due to having a smaller garage, and I'll always have a 2nd vehicle in there.

My company truck has a toolbox, an air tank, multiple hoses, and a huge centrifuge. So I cant use it for my needs. So I needed a smaller truck

I hear you! I'm at a point I don't need to be in my big service truck, all the time. I'm in a managerial position. I still need a 4x4 for site conditions. Before our last truck purchase, I confess, I looked at the yota's

Tacoma might not be a monster off roader like a Raptor, but its reliable as hell and they stand behind their product.

Will there be any market in the world where both raptor versions will be available? My understanding is this ranger raptor is for all foreign markets with no f150 raptors.

I’m guessing no. Which is part of Fords reasoning. Which is dead wrong I believe...

Am I the only one that thinks the ranger will fall flat in America. To me it looks bland. I’m very disappointed and hoping the bronco is better...

I think it’s a flop as well.

When Ford announced the Ranger was coming back, I hoped it would be close to the size of my Ranger. Nope, it is damn near as big as an F-150. When the Ranger Raptor video came out, I thought that I could live with the larger size if it was this cool. Now even that hope is crapped on. I have a friend that deals in southern rust free bodies, maybe I will just build a new winter beater and let Ford's management drive the company into the ground.

Ford stock price seems to reflect the sentiment in this thread.

I would pull the trigger today today on that Rappy Ranger. Looked like a blast.

Way to go ferd, guess I'll keep my tacoma for a while longer.

I can't complain about my Tacoma.... I got a NEW frame, NEW leaf springs, NEW lower control arms, NEW various brackets/components, and all NEW brake lines after the QUIET rusty-frame recall....

The back-half is C-channel, the front is still the sad patchwork quilt of metal scraps Dana calls a frame ;)

Hahahahahahahahahaha, this is only bad for the brand loyal dumbasses.

I remember threads for the Focus RS and posters saying they've been waiting for a sporty hatch to hit the market, like sporty hatches hadn't been on the market before Ford decided to join the club .

Yes I have to learn to accept that unless we go back to leaf springs and solid axles that front sub frame is a necessary evil no matter what brand.

And this dumb ass (me) bought a new 150 knowing the frame will probably croak before I want to dump it in 15 years.....
