I'm in the same boat. I still have about a full tank of e85 I'm trying to use up. I always store mine with 92 and seafoam.

Tomorrow is suppose to be 60*, but next week it's getting colder again. Today is only a high of 42* with 20-30 mph winds.

Same here tomorrow’s high is 48 windy rain today. I’m hoping for maybe two more weeks and that’s probably it. Last year I went till the 2nd week of November don’t think that’s gonna happen this year. Already got stabil and a oil filter. This reminds me I need to order my amsoil today.

Last year I put mine away to early. I think the first week in November last year. And I had a solid 3 weeks yet. Likely won't happen this year.

I generally change my oil in the spring. I might have 800 miles on this oil. I have a Amsoil dealer locally, which is nice.

Last year I had it out till about middle November. This year like you said that probably will not happen. I change mine once it’s parked and don’t start it till spring. That’s nice I don’t know if I have a local or not.

How long is it parked? I leave mine 3-4 months and never an issue. Put stabil in a full tank. Runs like a top.

Same here. I put in a can of Seafoam and fill the tank with a non-ethanol premium, hook up the battery maintainer and put the cover on.

That's basically what I do. I also have race ramp flat stoppers. Although I'm looking into a little added protection.

I've had mice in my garage before. I leave traps up all year but haven't had any problems in a few years. I found the main entry point on how they were getting in. I also put steel wool in the tail pipes.

Now I'm looking into this cover to hopefully make it tougher for them to potentially get in the car.

That's a nice cover Brady. Would you get the lined cover, or unlined?
I'm thinking the lined one. They did mention if you don't get the lined one you could use another car cover then this one over it.

I have a California traditional cover that came with the car when I purchased it. But I think it's more for all types of elements. So I may try to sell it.

Edit:. Well after reading it again, it seems they recommend using either one in conjunction with a traditional car cover. If that's the case, I don't see the reason for a lined one. I may call them.

You guys using the Seafoam, do you store it with 91/92 oct + Seafoam or run it through the fuel system?

I dump the Seafoam in then fill it up with the non-ethanol highest octane I can get, usually only 91 this time of year. I then drive it home about 10 miles or so and put it away. The most important part is the non-ethanol fuel.

Took the car out twice today. At 70 miles on the new clutch. Should have decent weather this weekend to put more on.

FWIW, when I spoke to mcleod they were more concerned about the engagement count rather than miles. When I broke mine in I went to the country, went up 6 gears down 6 gears and repeated. Boring, yes but less miles on the car and broke it in really quick. I know you don’t have a mcleod but break in should be similar.

That's good to hear. Yesterday I hit 100 city miles. More than I thought I'd get this fall. I might only have 1-2 week's left until storage.

I've been eye-balling this big boy for a while and it finally went on sale! 72" wide and 26 drawers. An early Christmas present for the Cobra I guess! I'm currently working out of 4 smaller tool boxes so it'll be nice to consolidate everything down to 1 or 2.
