Just a heads up if anyone wants to try it before you buy it, you can get a 14 day free trial of Xbox game pass which has horizon 4 on there. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it but so far I'm enjoying playing it for free.
Forza Horizon 4's photo realism is insane.

Some of those photos look cool but the textures and quality look pretty bad imo. I feel like I have seen older Forza games with better looking quality.

I have bought every forza but 7 and I would say this game is one of the best for pictures imo.
I'm a little pissed they don't have the evo's back in this game, I had two awesome Evo 6's in FH3 which I was looking to replicate in this game. I had to build up a opel manta 400 instead. I'll have to boot up FH3 and see how I built up my Integra type R which was a machine, I swear I had a LS3 swapped into that car and the only options I have here are two 4cyls. Will have to verify though.

Yea, but also would need to build a decent PC for it to be worth it.
The game looks incredible on a Xbox1X and 4k UHD TV. My round wheel rim broke on my Fanatec somehow so I've been limited to using my McLaren GT3 wheel and it's a bit tough. Turbo 306LX if anyone wants to add.
Does this game have the stupid leveling system Forza 7 had? In terms of having to reach certain levels to buy certain cars.

Not that I'm aware, some cars (albeit not too many) have to be unlocked but most things you can buy as long as you have the credits

Hard to beat the 1X for the price. I have a 1X and a beast PC, the PC has better detail and frame rate hands down but also over 5x the price. Going to cost double a 1X to get a PC that will play 4K at over 60FPS on ultra.
That would be slightly annoying, but better. It irritated the hell out me when I couldn’t buy the cars I wanted in Forza 7.

You know I was the biggest fan of the Forza series, I played almost every Forza up until this one and purchased every single car pack. But it is literally the same thing every time, until they do something completely different I don't think I am going to purchase it. Really really wish they added motorcycles. And not really a fan of where its located, wish it was in Japan.
