I don't think there would be much cross shopping, pricing would be worlds apart for starters. This would be the blue collar raptor or babys first raptor.

I agree.

Besides, majority of people who buy the Raptor, ZR-2 and the future TR/TRX will buy the truck just cause it looks cool.
Edit: The offroad truck market is hot right now. Especially with gas still low

Could of sent the ZR-2 to an early grave.

Maybe in 5 years they'll release it after Toyota makes a Taco with a decent suspension setup, being late to the small truck offroad party.

Toyota needs to get rid of the gutless Atkinson cycle engine too. That aside they easily have the best looking small| mid-sized truck.

Ford's tanking right before our eyes.

Pretty soon we will all be talking about the blue oval like it's Pontiac.

No more domestic cars, Focus in China. We get the F150 Raptor, regular F150, the mustang, and an overpriced Ranger, and that's it.

Go home Ford, you're drunk.

I thought the reason Ford said they were going stop producing cars and small suv's was because they wanted to focus on trucks and the mustang, kind of curious why they wouldn't include this as part of their new thinking

This feels like a mistake by Ford.

I'm gonna go with, it IS a mistake by Ford. I really don't want to start buying imports. But, I'll never buy any other domestic brand, and Ford is acting like they're virtually TRYING to destroy their US customer base. Not sure what's going to be left for me before long.

If this is true this is ****ing stupid. Im specifically selling my cars to get into a smaller truck and this would have been EXACTLY what I wanted.

I guess that Tacoma is looking more and more enticing.
I dont want a full size truck ( F150) due to having a smaller garage, and I'll always have a 2nd vehicle in there.

My company truck has a toolbox, an air tank, multiple hoses, and a huge centrifuge. So I cant use it for my needs. So I needed a smaller truck
