I'm hoping they are all the same (2wd) in terms of the actual materials. If so, this would be amazing news.

I can't imagine there would be any internal differences. I can't think of any reason that would make sense.

i agree, but if a company can find a way to save 30 bucks using different parts for the 2.3T, they'll do it. the T5's in the foxbody 'stangs differed from the 2.3 and 5.0

once we get a definitive answer, I'll add it to our knowledge base.

After reviewing the service manual for the F150, it does not indicate there are any differences in the 10R80 based on engine, unlike the 6R80.

just curious, could you give me that part number? Are you a ford tech? if so I've got some question for ya :D

Sorry man, I'm not a tech.

But, the F150 part numbers are
JL3Z-7000-E for the F150 2WD and 5.0L bellhousing
JL3Z-7000-F for the F150 4WD and 5.0L bellhousing

Finding the part number for the Mustang has proven difficult. It isn't listed on Tasca yet. You'd figure one of the 2018+ 10R80 owners would have posted pics of the trans housing......
