Taking the new build in for dyno Monday. Teksid bored .020 4.75 stroker with 9.3:1 compression, Livernois stage 3 cnc heads stock cams. 2.9 Whipple non-crusher 20 & 22psi pulleys. 1-5/8 long tubes, full 2.5” exhaust with Bassani cat back. E85 with 23* timing, fore triple return setup.

Guesstimate on hp? I’m hoping for 720-750 rwhp on dynojet.

Why’d you skip on cams? I mean you were already there..

I figured stock cams over 700 hp was good enough. If I went with cams I would have wanted higher compression to go with big cams and not have vacuum/drivability issues, which would mean new valve springs. It’s the whole snowball effect of doing it right when you move to the next level.

I had to draw a line in the proverbial sand.

I figured it should at least be north of 700...680 seems low for 20-22psi and timing on E85.

Even 680 though would be good. That will put my brother in laws LS7 in my rear view.

You’ll breeze through 700hp easy and will be knocking on 800’s door. My stock compression TVS car on e85 made 720 on a dyno jet. You have well ported heads, more cubes, higher compression and a bigger blower than I.

Yes north of 700 easy. When I had my small 2.8L blower I made just over 700 SAE on 93 octane 18.5psi with stock heads and less compression than you. E85 it was way way more. Non crusher inlet will hurt a good bit and stock Cams will hurt.

Your gap looks good .... I would try going 1 step colder to a NGK BR7EF/#3346 plug .... I ran the TR-6's for years, just switched to the 7 plug and picked up 4 mph at the track (and 0.3 et)! I'm E85 based as well.

Wow impressive what boost level?

Are you going to be at 22lbs with the ported heads, or is that 22lbs for people with stock heads?

With ported heads, makes 20.5 with 3.5 pulley and expecting 22 with 3.25. That is with a 4lb lower

Something else changed too. A plug change isn't going to gain that much mph.
