Pretty nice job that guy did tryng to hide the fact that he was about to throw up and maybe start crying. Can't blame him. Why does something always have to break?

It's just part of the game.

I'm 33 years old and have been running my fox since I was 15 years old with all sorts of different combos. I know that every single time I pull into the track there is a very good chance I'm going to break *something* LOL I have mainly broken transmissions though.

It sucks he spun a bearing or something else happened but it's part of it. That dude has been beating the hell out of that truck and prolly made a decent amount off youtube in the process. Good luck to him getting it fixed, I have showed my friends and pops vids of the truck so I hope he gets it fixed quick.

I don't understand why these people run FI on these Coyotes knowing the OPG's need to be taken care of but still just ride it out. Makes no sense to me, but maybe I don't know the full story.

Probably because of all the stories of how "bullet proof" the Coyote is. If it's as bullet proof as people claim, you shouldn't have to change anything to support making big power. Once you start swapping parts, it's not the same engine anymore, and calling it "bullet proof" is disingenuous no matter how minor the changed part is.

Welp, dude had a failure. Waiting for update to see what happened, but looks like it isn't a small issue.

He doesn't know what's wrong yet the truck sounds like a Cummins 6bt as he pulls up to the ticket booth.. ...then it locks itself up once the bearings run completely dry.

Ticket booth guy mentions starter issues. LOL.

18 minutes of "I don't think anything broke".

Poor guy! Obvious OPG failure and following bottom end seizure due to no oil.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but being able to keep an engine together > being able to say I have a bullet proof stock engine. Maybe I'm wired differently but if I had a boosted coyote, first thing I'd do is OPG's just for peace of mind. JMO.

Damn ill admit I missed that. I watched 18 minutes of confused mumbling and missed the part about him not being a mechanic.

My not so humble opinion: Learn to turn a few wrenches before you add 300whp to your truck and expect it to live forever.

Where in the heck does he normally shift his stock blown coyote? And who is th tuner that raised his rev limit that high on the stock OPG'd coyote? Maybe he will warranty the motor? Haha again.

Big drag for sure.

There's guys in NMRA running their coyotes up and over 8000 rpms....however shit will break. Its part of racing.

Low engine oil would mean TURN OFF IMMEDIATELY....or one would think....

its mind blowing these people that add so much horsepower / money to their vehicle, and don't have the slightest idea about what's really going on....

sounds expensive for sure. Now we get to see if he's really about it, or just wants to look the part on YouTube.

Now you know that's not going to happen, especially in this day and age. If that was my truck, I'd have sh1t my pants before I made it to the guy at the ticket booth after hearing what I did in the video. haha Seems like it should be common knowledge for someone with that many passes or mods on a vehicle that all is not okay when you hear a knock and the engine dies.

Zemedici- I agree man. I'm extremely thankful I grew up around a father that is an aviation engineer. I learned so much at a young age regarding engines and everything that goes into it. When I broke shit at age 16,17,18 while out street racing or at the drag strip... Guess who fixed that shit? Me, and I'm thankful he made me do it.

Exactly. My dad's not REMOTELY into cars, so if my hopped up shit broke, guess who had to figure out how to get it fixed by work the next day? Either I was up late wrenching, or I was up late watching my buddies wrench, while I learned by spectating.

Either way you gotta pay to play : with your money (paying someone else to fix it) or your time (fixing it yourself), but regardless you should know where your money's going...….

'heres money give me horsepowah!' is a very expensive approach

unfortunate for sure. however, race and it is inevitable that something will break. fun watching him smoke the other cars though with his stock looking p/u.
