Just a guess, but the dumb friend probably threw a temper tantrum over his buddy getting thrown out and got himself banned as well.

Edit - if I owned the range, I’d likely ban the friend to prevent a retaliatory attack. Imagine the friend returning to “target shoot” but starts shooting employees instead of paper once he’s Condition 1.

That kinda stupid is contagious, no way I'd let either of them finger **** a gun on the range ever again.

jack. Because the schmuck in the S550 will rev that shitpile all day. The guy with the jack is actually doing work, and you'd only hear it for 2 minutes lolol

Jack fo sho.

Somehow, Ford has managed to make every mustang since the '03 Cobra sound worse than its predecessor. At this point, a jack on concrete sounds better than a stock Coyote.

I have tried every combination on mine, factory manifolds with and without cats(x and h pipes), longtubes with cats and without thru GT500 quads and magnaflow race quads.....its all meh

I loved the way my 03 cobra sounded and my 94 5.0 was a close 2nd. Hell the old 4.6 2V sounds better. Thanks ford

the 4.6 and 5.4 had a mean sound to em that just beat everything. A friend of mine was a big GM guy but even he would always comment how someone at Ford sold their soul to the devil to get that sound. Im sure I'll get another Lightning one day - part of me wants to drop a gen 2 coyote and 10spd in it with a new whipple the other says leave it slow with an old KB screaming @ a million db & keep the exhaust sound.

It's true. I switched to 6.5 CM because, now that it's old and dry, .308 makes my p***y hurt.

I don't get it. What am I missing?

6.5 Creedmoor and 7.62 NATO have the same energy and velocity at the muzzle. However, due to ballistics, the 6.5 Creedmoor is lethal on a soft target at almost a mile. The 308 Winchester has an 800 yards maximum effective range, less than half the distance of the 6.5.

I made my own exhaust system for the 2016. As of now...the stock stuff.. Factory manifolds going to cats. Then I have a custom H-pipe with Dynomax Mini race bullets (4" body) welded in right after the crossover. From there, it is straight pipes all the way back to quad tips. It is loud AF above 4800 rpms, but it has a late 60's early 70's mustang note to it for some reason or other. It is very similar sounding to a 65 mustang that we had that a 351 cleveland was dumped into. Not as deep sounding, but it has the old school sound to it that it had at full song.
I may try to tone the volume down a bit more later, but I haven't came up with a good way to do that yet without changing the overall note. I have a bunch of oval tubing that I am going to play around with. I may add them in just behind the bullets and route them to the sides (S197 Boss 302 style.) I have all of the measurements and angles figured. I just need to get around to it. Redirecting some of the sound out of the sides, and adding an in-line baffle system to the side section may give me what I am looking for.
