My f150 screw hauls both of my kids better than my old explorer did...gets better mpg too...

Tried to get my wife a new F150 when she was pregnant back in 2013, went with the Explorer Sport instead. Still trying to get her to trade it for a new truck as we use my 06 F150 more as the family vehicle.

When you putting nitrous on this one?

I do still have my kit. Hmmm.

Great thread, nice change of pace.

8.5/10, would read again...

Better than seeing another blown/turbo Coyote. *shrug*

nice ride...as far as reliability nothing beats a Honda...I DD a 14' Accord Sport w a 6 speed for a while and my parents had a 94' Accord as a beater when I was growing up that I learned to drive stick on, also shout out to Honda for being one of the only manufacturers to still offer sedans with manual trans

Honda FTW! I've had, in order; a 2000 Civic EX coupe, 2010 Civic LX sedan, 1994 Civic EX coupe (turbo), 2010 Pilot Touring AWD, 2017 Accord Sport SE and now this Pilot.

hashtag dad lyfeee

Dad drives a twin turbo Mustang though. Lol

Looks nice for an everyday driver! Did you get a good deal on it?

I got a pretty good deal on it. I was a Honda employee at the time.

I don't know that it'll even do 88. LMAO

I like the new Pilots. The first gens were a bit smaller....in appearance at least.

She had a 2010 Touring before the minivan (d'oh) and really liked it, but the money factor was on this one versus used.

Trucks max out at 2 kids. Trying to put a 3rd car seat in the back of our ‘15 SuperCrew would be a disaster.

3 booster seats? No problem.
But a booster, a seat, and a newborn carrier wouldn’t fly.

We picked up a used ‘15 Traverse.

I’ve sworn from my teenage years that I would never own a minivan, regardless of how much more convenient it may be.

Nice 3 row hauler.

We didn't like the new design of the Pilots.

I was split between Explorer Sport, Acadia and Traverse.

Wife bought a 2018 Kia Sorento EX. By far the cheapest car out of the list I had in my head haha.

I wish we could lease but we would bust the mileage in 18-22 months. Over 10k miles and we got it in late February.

3 infants ain't fitting in this crossover it's too narrow. The third row only works with toddler seats. But then you have no room for the strollers, haha.

Wasn’t sarcasm, actually was entertained when I scrolled through. Sorry for the micro aggression you Honda owners have to endure. *shrug*

Wife has a 2015 Honda CR-V Touring and we love it. With the recent addition of kiddo number two, I've been looking at Pilots. Personally, I think they are sharp looking and can scoot out pretty good.

New pilots are pretty nice vehicles honestly. Good call on the ex-l, the 9 speed in the touring model has been a huge headache for a lot of owners. The first round of them had a lot of failures under 15k miles due to a faulty trans cooler that would mix coolant into the transmission fluid . They got that sorted out but still hear a lot of complaints. I worked for Honda for several years and switched to ford, I'm now going back to Honda again. Might pick up a 18 accord as my next car they are really nice vehicles

has anyone ever seen the video of the kid who had this old civic and he put's his foot to the floor and dumped water straight into the fuel lines and the car kept running for like 20 minutes after. That's what proved to me those motors can never really die lol

Get a 2.0T with six speed and a Hondata tune. It's a Civic Type-R killer for less money and with more room.

It beats my 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE. Lol

EX-L is all she really needed, and yeah, given the issues of the 9spd, I wanted to steer clear of a Touring+.

Don’t let people bust your balls. My wife drives the same pilot in the same color except ours is AWD. I agree they aren’t much to look at but that aside they are fantastic vehicles.
