Seems quick to me, 55-100 in a blink!
Love your car, congrats.

It's decent...

;) JFWY moves good for the minimal mods. Sounds good too.

The z pulls much harder but doesn’t launch nearly as strong. From a roll it’s no contest but from a dig it would be close.
it won't be close at all from a dig unless you're on drag radials and prepped track .

Your Z moves out OP. I have driven a couple C7Zs and they're a absolute blast, but if I'm making a switch from my Shelby I'm buying a viper.

I drove a newest gen viper back to back with the vette. That dam clutch pedal was stiff as a 16 year old on prom night!

So is 60-160 the new 60-130? Serious question, because I've been debating timing my car once I get a tire. And if 60-130 isn't be used anymore, I don't want to be that guy. Lol

No. 60-130 and 100-150 are still the benchmarks if your into that stuff.

Look into the Dragy box. Lots cheaper and guys are getting the same results when tested side by side with a Vbox. I have actually considered selling my Vbox to get one because it's much more low profile.

I have yet to drive a Gen5 viper, but I'm sure the clutch is heavy. I would only buy a 2015 or newer viper and they're still very expensive, the C7Zs are somewhat affordable now and that 8 speed auto is badass.

Lol! You know your cars.

Haha a little, did some research on a GTR as a next car and decided to go big power cost a tad more than what I wanted to spend. Mostly because I do not make that much yet. 12-1500 will not break the bank to bad and I could do that, it is the want for the 2k+ build that will kill you haha.

Everyone is grabbing one, I may as well jump on that train haha.

The time to purchase a Viper was last year when an early G5 was going for $65-$70k. Now the same car would be $5-$10k higher. As the C7Z with an A8 is widely availble and much better all around car, that to me is the way to go. If you want to drop big mod money, Viper and send to Calvo. For me, the A8 and warranty wins out. A 2017 could be had in the $60k range and still have warranty. If things go right with business next year I may purchase one. They are gorgeous cars, especially a Z07 with Stage 3 aero.
