I’m switching over to e85 with a fore kit. I currently have a Kenne Bell 2.8 with a 3 3/4 upper. I’m debating over getting a 4lb lower or getting a 3 1/4 pulley. I’m making about 15-16 lbs of boost with 3 3/4

Okay. Thanks. I was going to get a 3.25 because it shows 22lbs on the kB chart.

I'm making 22 psi with my 2.8h KB, stock 3.75" upper with 4lb lower. That is on a higher than stock compression ratio motor though.

Same setup before, I was seeing 20.5 psi with headers, no cats.

I prefer the 4lb lower than the smaller upper for added belt wrap. I was running something like a 3.25 upper and a 6lb lower. The 6lb lower helped with belt slip.

Iam running a 3.75 with 4lb lower on my 2.6H and according to my dyno sheet Iam at 17psi that diagram says the 3.75 is good for 16psi?
Ive been itching to swap in my 3.5 pully but my tuner doesnt recommend it with 91oct fuel. Can i safely run a 3.5 with 91oct.

On 91 octane I would not feel safe doing that either. I guess if they back way off timing you would be ok but you would most likely negate any power made. There is a fine line between what timing to run and what boost. You want a health amount of both to make the best combo.

Thank you sir! really appreciate the info. I guess my only future move at my elevation would be to convert to E85

Anybody know the belt size for a kB 3.75 upper and a 4lb lower with billet flow idlers.

Ill double check but i believe i am running a Gates Green belt 81 1/8in belt with my set up, 3.75 upper 4lb lower along with 90mm idlers. I believe the METCO website has a belt diagram for the different set ups as well.

I am also running an 81" belt with mine. 3 100mm and 1 90 mm idler with the 100mm being a snub idler by the blower. Its tight but it clears.

I’ve been using the green gates belt with no issues. I’ve used the gator back before and they always have a sound like a gear drive. But not that extreme. No complaints about the sounds either.
