P1443 code... Losing mpg?

Will code p1443 make you lose some mpg? Seems like I get about 210 miles to the full tank. I have replaced the canister valve but am still pulling the code. My next step is to replace the sketch line running from the fender to the valve and ordered the new black sensor that monitors the evap system. Let me know if this would effect mpg.
