Has anyone else tried to track down their old car(s)? I’ve been following mine and saw, by a miracle, it was headed to a salvage auction. I’m in the process now, so here’s where it sits

Sad to see an old car get abused, my first mustang (also a 2v) was mint when I owned it and now I see it around town every once in a while just completely trashed. I’ve got dreams of buying it back someday and restoring it

Here is the update. Trying to keep everyone up to date, and learning some things along the way

I tried to track down my old 73 firebird about 2 years ago. Come to find out someone found rust and parted it out :-(

Had a 89 GT I bought new. Sold it a couple years later. About 4 or so years later I got a call from Ford. Yep, Ford corporate. It was found abandoned in Saudi Arabia and Ford had only my name as the last owner. I still had the paperwork on there old owner and knew he totaled it about 6 months after he got it from me. No clue how it ended up overseas.

Tried finding my 72 Torino a couple times, never had any luck. I think it got parted out shortly after I sold it.

Wow! My grandpa was a medical doctor and took his 1970 challenger 440 six pack RT/SE to SAUDI and said they loved those cars there. I have seen a ton of terminators in dubai and figure this will be more common. Great story!
