Usshift will update the firmware and install the trans brake free of cost, just have to send funds for them to ship it back to you. I have all the parts for swap, just waiting on Brett Lasala to make his billet planetary for my trans.

Where’s the best place to source a 6r80? I need to start gathering parts for this.

I used AN to buy some of the stuff new, i.e flywheel,backing plate, ect.. But might not be cheapest for you being in CA and all
Update. Converter in with the new trans brake and all i can say is wow. Whole new car. I can build tons of boost and super excited to hurt feelings at sturgis rally . All of you swapping i suggest you do this. You really awaken an animal.
What trans brake did you go with and are you running a two step .
Can you make a complete parts list I see you said longer bell housing bolts and flex plate bolts did you just use the 5.0 I didn't see anything about a dipstick just want to make sure I order everything
Quick 6 now has a trans brake with there controller. I had to send mine in to get done. Bolts are ones i grabbed from hardware store i think 4 are 3 1/2 inches and the other 2 you can use 3 inch on. Trans has dipstick on side of it. You have to follow special procedure to fill it. I had a msd 2 step but made my car run like crap so i took it off.
Make sure you get some good track vids when you can. As soon as my car is back on the road with a new motor and running good I am gonna jump all over this swap. I have an idea I’m looking into for paddle shifters so I’m pretty excited to get going.

A good start is seeing what it cost new.
Trans 3,200
QT bell housing 680.
McLeod 800rst/1000rxt. So very close to 5K new
Then you still have the drive shaft, clutch cable,TOB, so That's another couple hundred bucks.
I have all these parts aswell and I will be doing the swap this winter. And putting up all the parts listed up for sale. I plan on asking a little more then half of what the parts cost new. I figure close to 6k for everything I plan on asking 3k.
But I do have receipts and confirmed mileage, 4 years old with 14k miles.
Can anyone tell me where this relay is so I can hook up the grey wire?

Is it the 2.66 or 2.97 first gear?
