So my friend bought a economy 351w short block with aftermarket pistons in it and he's wanting to run a trickflow stage 3 cam. I know with stock 5.0s people run into clearance problems, would he run into any using that cam with his 351w? The lift is right under .600 with 1.6rr

I have a M-6009-B58 Lightning GT-40 short block. Inside it is an old Compucam 2030(pn 444121). It has 216/220 Dur & .333/.340 Lift (max is 107* ATDC/117*BTDC. I have felpro 1011-2(.039 compressed) 170 twisted wedge (61cc w/2.02&1.60 valves) topped by 1.72 rollers and 8.050 Pushrods. The company leaves a .573/.585 lift. It all seems to work fine I have right at .080 ptv on the intake w/o gaskets installed. (exhaust never touched the clay). So if it helps that’s .119 using felpro 1011-2 (.039) and .121 using felpro 1011-1(.041). Hoping it runs great! And hope this helps clear up any questions on ptv
