I've used FORscan to turn on my sub, bambi lights, global windows and activate the navigation. Up next is heated steering wheel.

Can’t you just turn the DRL’s off?
This can stay here for now seeing it works on all Ford/Lincoln products.
I need to load this crap.
The heat/cool seats show up on Sync? I know I can change the climate control by talking to the truck, but never tried the seats.

You can turn off DRLs from the dash for US models. My truck is Canadian spec, I didn't have that option and had to use Forscan to do it.

Nope, not a option on mine I don’t think.

You can do it from the IPC. Should be under settings > advanced settings > vehicle > lighting > daytime lights. Uncheck the box.

I don't know if that's a permanent thing, or has to be done every time you turn it on.

I didn't mind it when it was seamless, and I couldn't feel it. That lasted for about a week. I don't know exactly what change, but now, I can feel/hear it every time it happens, and I don't like it. Plus, there's a slight delay between when it starts again, and when you can go. Sometimes, I want to go NOW, like the instant I mash the pedal.
I guess I’m used to it as I drove a Mazda for a while in Japan that had start stop and could not deactivate it (or at least I didn’t try to figure out how). I learned to just move the steering wheel slightly to start it before I need to mash the gas. The truck does a pretty good job of keeping the temps in the cabin stable. Plus I’ll take every little bit of better gas mileage I can. Drove to Austin on a fresh tank and averaged 17.7mpg then with a day of city driving it dropped to 15.3...I may have a heavy foot.

I’m gonna go with instrument panel cluster.

What Kendall said. You know, the thing right in front of the steering wheel. Page right on your 5-way button (the steering wheel button with "OK" in the middle) to the thing that looks like a set of gears. Then you should be able to find it.

If I’ve learned anything in my time in the military it’s how to decipher acronyms.

I hate abbreviations. Just me, carry on. lol

I feel ya, man. I work at a company that has a website dedicated to decoding all the acronyms we have. Sorry to pester you with that one lol.

Yes. Yes you can. That was the first mod I did lol. You'll need the Explorer file though.

Yes. I did this on my '13 explorer sport. However, I have not figured out how to disable the honk when a passenger exits and closes their door and I have not yet opened the driver door.

Greg, how many miles on the truck now? I noticed my transmission starting to smooth out at 600 miles. They say it needs at least 1K to act normal. It now hits 9th gear at 45 mph.

I'm at about 1100 miles, now. Upshifts are quite smooth, though earlier than I'd like in normal mode. Downshifts are still a bit clunky at low speeds. First gear is so low, it's almost like slamming on the brakes going around a corner, sometimes.

I need to order the damn usb piece. Glad I saw this about turning off the DRLs through the dash

The wife’s mustang the only funky thing the trans seems to do is downshifting just as you come to a stop

Yeah, it definitely downshifts itself. Really no coast mode. Normal mode, 1-3-5 then up. It does shift fast. 80 is 2 RPM on mine. 3.55 rear. My old truck was 2K at 70.
