Whippled F150 rcsb vs ZL1/Mustang GT/Hellcat

I love my SD, but damn do I want an 18 5.0 to Whipple. That truck moves out, and looks so sedate.

I bet that truck catches a lot of people off guard.

I think I recall reading about engaging the electronic axle lock to launch, and un-locking it soon after. Maybe that's what he's doing.

Ive read that as well but Ive also seen people that race em saying manually turning it off is resulting in better ETs

I wonder the weight difference between the RC and extended cab?

What else is done to it besides the Whipple?

Welp, dude had a failure. Waiting for update to see what happened, but looks like it isn't a small issue.

Now that sucks! Well, he'll get it fixed, maybe do some other work on the motor, and be back with a vengeance. That video was great. He had that F-150 setup nicely.

I'm thinking opg let go. I spun a bearing in a coyote and had no codes. The engine would crank and you could hear the "rocks" rolling around. You could also feel the vibration in the pedals.

That's just part of pushing the edge. Not to mention, drag racing is some of the harshest punishment you can put an engine and driveline through. That's why I don't drag/dig race. My intact engine is way more valuable to me than ego points from beating somebody off the line.
