This thing is unreal, but I’m coming out of a 04 Lariat. Just a few pictures for now. 18 Lariat, 2.7. I’ll get better pictures later. It’s so quite and smooth it’s stupid. I was up till 11 last night reading and playing. What has amazed me most, the auto start/stop. You can’t feel it or even know it’s working. There’s a button to disable it, but haven’t used it. Cooling seats are awesome. Not sure how I feel about the DRL’s. I’ll probably do the Forscan deal when I get some time.
Overall in 55 miles, home run.

Awesome truck! We have tund quite a few of these already and if you dont like that start stop feature we can disable that for you but a 93 tune on that vehicle makes it like a rocket ship, the 2.7L Really gets moving for the weight and the engine it has thats for sure, customers go crazy once they have the tune in their!

It’s still here, and used it yesterday. Guy is getting it Sunday. Gonna miss it still. I didn’t worry about door dings and crap. Been with me 15 years...
That's a long time.
My last truck, I had for 11 years, but I could have kept going with it. Only a few issues with it that weren't really major. I actually kinda miss that truck to be honest. This truck has a nicer interior and interior features, but that last truck looked great and ran awesome.

Oh yeah Tony, this thing blows it away. The cooling seats alone are worth their weight in gold.
Like I said before I think, mirrors on the 04 were better. Only real complaint, and that’s minor. Only drove it 1 week and hit 200 miles. lol

HA HAAAAAAAAAAAA
Awesome. I'm jealous, I don't have the cooling seats.
If there was an option for it, I would have gotten them for sure, but there wasn't. That's a plus for living in Florida.

21 mpg average around town. That’s lots of idle time playing with it too. That the truck deal. I’ll actually hand compute when it hits 1K miles. I heard the factory shit is really not accurate. My 04 was about spot On.
Bitch has a hour meter. lol

Well, got my new insurance statement for this thing. It over doubled. Something is wrong. I can understand the collision going up, but not everything else. Called my kid who’s my agent. He’s gonna look into it. From $565 for the 04 to $1,145.WTF?
Damn thats alot

Oh yeah, one thing to note. The mirrors on my 04 are better. They’re wider vs taller. You can see on the sides better with the old truck, blind spot warning or not.
The mirrors on the max tow package are bigget than the regular tow package. Like you i prefer bigger side mirrors

So, washed and waxed with 845. Windows are rain x. Even did the wife’s escape. Now, I crawled underneath for the first time. How in the hell do you get to oil pan.?
Not even sure I want to mess with oil changes on this truck.

you gotta drop that arrow tray underneath.

I dunno about the 2.7 but the 3.5 is a bitch. The oil filter is horizontal at the front of the truck and has a built in funnel under it. Problem is it only work if the truck is level. Getting the filter off with the truck sitting flat on the ground was a royal pain in the ass. I did it once, too old for this shit only 35 lol

We need a FORScan thread. Is there one? I searched and couldn't find it.

I downloaded the software the other day, and the adapter arrives tomorrow. I'd love to shut off the DRLs, and that STUPID double honk.

I don't mind changing the filter on my 3.5TT, but pulling the oil plug causes things to get crazy real quick. I probably spilled 1-2 quarts when I did my first oil change. The oil shoots out horizontally about 2.5 feet.....I need to find an oil pan with a backsplash.
