I miss my Lightnings. Even though that generation of F-150 wasn’t the best to look at, the L pulled it off and IMO will always look good.

I’ve slowly bring mine back from poor maintenance by the prior owner in the last or so.

Paint
Hard shell
Hoses
Belts
Power steering gear
Power steering pump
Brakes
Front suspension
Tires
Interior
Radio/backup camera

Makes a great daily driver.

The ridiculous part is that a lowered regular cab ‘15+ f150 with a couple bumper/headlight changes could easily be as cool as the lightnings we all love.

There's a local dealer near me that has had a few of these. I get it that its a tribute to the old but cool non the less.

One of the best looking (overall) trucks IMO. The blown engine was huge back in 2001. Still is. I rarely see any on the streets around here.
