Any interest in 'custom' tinted sn95 tails?

I know there is a lot of popularity with the export tail lights, but they are a bit too expensive for some people. I decided to go with an aftermarket tail light and tint it to my own liking (in process as we speak) and thought it might be something the community would be interested in. They are not exactly like exports (turn signal lens is a reflector rather than clear, look at pics to compare) but effectively are the same style. Here is an export style rendering of what I could do:

I could also do a variety of other color combinations:

***they would be created using translucent paint and multiple coats of clear coat with hardener. Price would be determined based on interest, but much less than export tail lights, and depending on if you need harnesses (if going with a design using different than stock turn signal location).

If there is any other color combination you would like to see, I can make the design and show you what it would look like. Any color is possible, but legality is in your hands! :)

Is it the pictures or does the red look pink? Cool idea by the way.

The above photos are photoshop compositions at this point. The actual color will be very close to the factory lens color, definitely not pink. I will be doing my first set (export clones) in the next week hopefully and will have actual photos of the end result posted.

Hmm, I'd like to see an actual finished set of an export tail style.
Curious on price as well.

The actual export tails go for big money. I can't say exactly how much since sales are so rare, but anywhere between $500 and $800 is not unheard of.

I think the lowest they ever went was about $400, and that was over 10 years ago when they were actually available through online stores.

Right now the price is not figured out, but my goal price for a pair of export style tails will be between $250 and $300 plus shipping. An included wiring harness will be a little more, and depending if people want black bezels or no bezels will affect the cost. The export style (and any version with a relocated turn signal) will require slight wiring (tapping into third brake light and disconnecting/cutting one wire under the dash). In those cases, I would include step by step printed instructions as well as tools required.
