My wife says the latest craze she's seeing in the ICU is called Crocodil. Apparently, they mix gasoline with heroin before shooting and it eats them from the inside.
HOLY **** Tony!!! Are there people doing that in the U.S. now?!?! That originated in Russia, years back. I watched that on one of those Netflix drug documentaries.
That stuff is seriously no joke. You'll get open sores on your body on any spot on your body. So bad.

Compared to Selena Gomez, that Grande dweeb Katy Perry etc.. Demi's vocal ability leaves them all in the dust. I'm not a fan but have seen a couple live TV performances the girl brings it! And when she has her weight in check... Yup..

From my experience, there’s two kinds of people. Those that truly understand the pain and suffering associated with mental illness, due to first hand experience, and there’s those that don’t, because they’ve never experienced it.
while I have not been diagnosed, I have lived with someone that had mental issues for 13 years. been there done that and living for a long time with someone that has it is as good as having it yourself when talking about it.

Well written responses guys. I've had some pretty rough times in the past and there are depression/bi-polar disorder issues on both sides of my family, however, i have never had that "I can't get out of bed to face the world" type of feeling. Unless there has been some unspeakable tragedy that a person has lived through, i just don't understand how someone with a roof over there head, air in their lungs, food in their stomach, decent health and a few people that care about them can be so afflicted by a mental disorder.
Then again, the old adage goes that you never know what a person is dealing with until you walk a mile in their shoes.
just because you haven't had it does not mean it doesn't exist. it does not take an "unspeakable tragedy" to start down the path, it can be simply having a baby. something millions of women do with no ill effects. Some however start down a spiral that is not easy to climb out of and it certainly is not something that you can bootstrap your way out of.

drug addicts will go to great lengths to do it and cover it up. The New England Journal of Medicine reported once that ERs were seeing an alarming number of men coming in with their penis falling off. turns out they were drug addicts that were shooting up in the veins of their penis and eventually the veins would collapse causing gangrene to set in.

I’d pin her down and set her straight.
I would give it to her straight.

I had two acquaintances die from that and the fentanyl in CT three years ago.

I saw a show on that crocodil stuff before its amazing that people will put that stuff in to their body. I don't do drugs but I can kind of see where a person might think they can do cocaine or heroin and not get addicted or have a negative effect on their body. That crocodil stuff is made with substances that you know should never enter your body.

Same with cigarettes. It is well known cigarettes are basically poison, but people still smoke.

Yup. It's a cheap and easy(to make) drug so people will do it, regardless of the consequences.
IIRC depending on the chemicals used, it can either **** you up quickly or you won't get those severe side effects.

Damn.
Scary stuff man. They look like lepers after using that stuff. I think life expectancy using that drug is 3 years and less.

Yup. Sad but true. Anything for that "high".
It's a shame.

Yes, they are filled with poison, last I remember.
Maybe they changed that?

I can understand where you get that thought from, and partially my life turned around because of this. BUT and it's a very big but, imagine you are you, and suddenly all of those things that get you moving, your endorphins up, your heart racing, and your drive back, suddenly dull. Imagine that while you're madly in love with this woman, it's muted. Your car time of wrenching in the garage feels familiar and calming, but somehow remote and distant. You walk away from doing all of those things you listed feeling unfulfilled because they didn't quench that thirst of completion you need to not feel depressed.

That's been my life for.....as long as I can remember. It's hard to get out of it when you have nobody around you that GAF, at least, not within about a 3 hour drive.

Addicts, on the other hand, I have no respect for. It started with a choice, and I would wager somewhere along their timeline, they were fully aware the path they were headed down, yet chose to continue.

She is an absolute smoke show. She should get out of the industry and just retire to the simple life. She has achieved the top goal. Once you get there you have two choices. Walk away and relax, or ride the train back down the hard way.
